Challenge

From the end of 2021, Shimano will start to introduce environmentally friendly and sustainable packaging solutions for their products. For both consumers and retailers, this means they’re seeing the brand in a new light. Our challenge: inform them about the new sustainable packaging, in a way that builds understanding and sympathy.

Strategy

For cyclists across all riding styles, Shimano’s product packing is a physical manifestation of their relationship with the brand. It offers people guidance in buying and selecting the right product and  confirms the product quality and reliability. The new packaging has a distinct look&feel. Our communication strategy and concept explains the reasons behind it. Based on Shimano’s philosophy ‘committed to preserving nature’. 

Idea: reduce, reuse, recycle

Our concept visualises Shimano’s dedication to preserving nature through an appealing landscape. Made out of the same material as Shimano’s new packaging. We’re literally creating a sustainable environment, guiding both consumers and retailers through the story.
